Registered Nurse Emergency Room
Job Title
- Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Location
- Pasadena, TX
Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, 13-week assignment, nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department
- Perform procedures such as ultrasound IV placement, thoracotomy, and critical medication titration
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, line readings, and treatment responses
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure efficient patient flow and safety
- Adhere to unit policies, sepsis and stroke protocols, and trauma management standards
- Maintain accurate documentation using the ED Medi-tech EMR system
Required Qualifications
- Valid and active RN license
- Minimum of 1 year ED experience
- Certifications: TNCC, ENPC, PALS, ACLS, BLS, CPI/TIC (must-have)
- Ability to work nights and maintain flexibility
Preferred Experience / Skills
- BSN or higher degree preferred
- CEN or other advanced certifications a plus
- Experience with rapid infuser, vein finders, CVP and arterial lines, TTM machines
