Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients within established standards of care.
• Conduct initial patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Reassess patients regularly to monitor progress and modify care plans as needed.
• Document interventions and patient outcomes accurately and timely.
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated, effective patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Current New Mexico RN license or valid Compact state license.
• BLS certification required; ACLS optional.
• Minimum of 2 years of med/surg nursing experience.
• Knowledge of patient rights, safety standards, and infection control policies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team.

• Experience working in a hospital setting with diverse patient populations.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
