Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population, including critically ill and trauma patients in a Level 1 trauma center.
• Triage and assess patients, administer treatments, and monitor patient vitals and responses.
• Collaborate with physicians, mid-level providers, and other staff to deliver quality patient care.
• Titrate various IV drips such as vasopressors and cardiac medications, following protocols.
• Document patient information accurately and efficiently in electronic health records.
• Assist in emergency procedures and respond effectively in fast-paced situations.

Required Qualifications

• Active IL registered nurse license or proof of application submission.
• Current BLS, ACLS, ENPC or PALS, and TNCC or TNS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including prior travel assignments.
• Proficiency in critical care procedures, including titration of drips.
• Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately.
• Strong foundational nursing skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced emergency environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• SANE RN experience.
• Experience working in teaching hospitals with residents.
• Familiarity with trauma care for Level 1/2 trauma patients.
