Registered Nurse - Operating Room
Location: Calais, ME
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, effective, and patient-family centered perioperative care.
- Assist with scrubbing, circulating, and working in the recovery room as needed.
- Communicate effectively with the perioperative team to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold the organization's mission, vision, and values.
- Support a team-oriented environment dedicated to high-quality healthcare delivery.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current registered nurse licensure in the state of Maine.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- At least 1 year of perioperative experience.
- Basic computer skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (may be obtained within 6 months of hire).
- Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS) certification (may be obtained within 12 months of hire).
- CNOR certification preferred.
- Ability to scrub general and orthopedic cases.
