LTC/SNF Registered Nurse
Job Title
- Registered Nurse - Long Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Location
- Libby, MT
Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 36 hours per week, night shifts (12-hour shifts)
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise nursing staff and monitor patient care to ensure high standards.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents with long-term needs.
- Administer medications and monitor residents’ responses, ensuring safety and compliance.
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately in clinical records.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, and families regarding care plans and progress.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies, including performing CPR and initiating emergency protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited RN nursing program; BSN preferred.
- Current RN licensure in Montana.
- Valid CPR certification.
- At least 1 year of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing environment preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements for long-term care.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care delivery.
