- Full-time, contract, days shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Medical/Surgical and Telemetry unit.
- Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and document care efficiently and accurately.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and respond to emergencies as required.
- Conduct ECG rhythm recognition assessments and participate in orientation assessments.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Ohio or Compact State nursing license.
- Must have at least 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty area prior to travel assignment.
- Must have a minimum of 18 months of recent Medical/Surgical or Telemetry experience; travel experience also acceptable.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Ability to work at least every other holiday.
- Passing scores on ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate during orientation.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous hospital-based Med/Surg or Telemetry nursing experience.
- Experience working rotating shifts.
