Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to patients in accordance with physician prescriptions and established treatment plans.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized therapy programs to improve mobility and function.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and care routines.
• Document patient care and progress using computerized documentation systems (training on EPIC provided).
• Collaborate effectively with medical staff, nursing personnel, and department administrators to ensure quality patient care.

Required Qualifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist in Maryland.
• CPR certification.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong judgment and knowledge to meet patient treatment needs.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with electronic medical records, specifically EPIC (training provided).
• Excellent communication and motivational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet patient care deadlines.

Additional Information

• Dress code: khaki scrub bottoms with navy scrub tops.
• Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
• No shift per week requirement specified.
• Equipment: Computerized documentation systems (EPIC training provided).
