Registered Nurse Telemetry
Job Title
- Registered Nurse - Telemetry
Location
- Cambridge, MA
Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Contract, Nights, 3 shifts per week (every other weekend and holiday required, including Christmas), 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care on a 24-bed medical/surgical telemetry floor, including patients from emergency, cardiac procedural areas, and specialized labs
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry monitors and respond to patient needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive nursing care
- Document patient information accurately using electronic health record systems
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Massachusetts
- Epic electronic health record system experience
- Ability to read and interpret cardiac monitors
- Must have been separated from previous employment at the hospital system for at least 6 months
- No local candidates; must be available for the entire duration of the contract
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working on a telemetry or cardiac unit
- Familiarity with cardiac procedures such as cath labs, pacers, AICD, TAVRs, etc.
