Job Title
- Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele
Location
- Garfield Heights, OH
Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, night shift, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts (7pm-7am)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit
- Recognize and respond to ECG rhythms and clinical emergencies
- Administer medications and treatments following established protocols
- Document patient information accurately and timely
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Complete assessments and contribute to care planning
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
- Permanent Ohio state license or Compact state license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Willing to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start
- Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
- One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior charge nurse or leadership experience (preferred)
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems, such as Lotus/Qualivis
