Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Location
• Richmond, VA
Schedule / Job Type
• Travel, 13-week assignment, Night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
• Provide emergency nursing care in a busy hospital emergency department
• Monitor and respond to patient needs, ensuring safety and quality care
• Administer medications and treatments according to protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
• Document patient information accurately in EMR systems
• Support patient and family needs during emergency situations
Required Qualifications
• Valid Registered Nurse license in Virginia or eligible for licensure
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification are required
• Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
• TNCC and CEN certifications
• Previous experience in high-acuity settings or HCA facilities
• Experience with GE cardiac monitoring and Meditech EMR
