Registered Nurse Operating Room
Job Title
- Registered Nurse - Operating Room
Location
- Portsmouth, NH
Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, 13-week assignment, 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), variable days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Provide circulating nursing care in a fast-paced operating room environment
- Assist with orthopedic, general, neuro, robotic, and trauma surgeries
- Ensure patient safety and maintain sterile techniques during procedures
- Collaborate with surgical teams, including RNs and surgical technologists
- Follow facility protocols and documentation requirements using Meditech EMR
- Assist with patient prep and post-operative care as needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a hospital setting
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Valid RN license
- Ability to circulate and scrub in surgical procedures, with orthopedic, general, or neuro surgery experience preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with trauma cases and robotic surgeries
- Strong teamwork and hard-working attitude
- Flexibility to rotate weekends and on-call shifts
