Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, nights shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to emergency department patients from admission to discharge
- Assess patient conditions, develop and implement care plans, and coordinate treatments
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with protocols and standards
- Utilize advanced life support skills, including ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ATLS, and CEN certification standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Assist with trauma care in a level IV trauma facility, prioritizing patient safety and quality care
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado
- Experience in an Emergency Department or Critical Access Hospital setting
- Certification in ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ATLS, and CEN (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient management skills
- Ability to work night shifts and accommodate on-call requirements
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a trauma or rural hospital environment
- Familiarity with trauma nursing protocols and procedures
- Ability to adapt to multi-site coverage including Fraser, CO
