Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Days, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities
• Assist in surgical procedures across a variety of specialties, including trauma, transplant, ortho, neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and robotics
• Prepare operating rooms and equipment for diverse cases, ensuring compliance with safety and sterilization standards
• Support surgical teams by maintaining sterile fields and handling instrumentation efficiently
• Float within scope to meet facility needs across similar units and sister facilities as required
• Participate in a rotating weekend schedule, including one weekend shift every 4 weeks
• Be available for up to 4 on-call shifts every 4 weeks, including possible emergency response duties during hurricane season

Required Qualifications
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA required; NCCT not accepted)
• BLS certification
• Radiation badge must be provided by the agency before start
• Minimum of 2 years of surgical technologist experience in a fast-paced hospital setting

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with neuro (spines/crani) and ENT (flaps), as well as robotics (Da Vinci Xi) procedures
• Familiarity with complex cases such as orthopedic (total joints, spine, trauma), neuro, transplant, trauma/burns, and GU-GYN surgeries
