Schedule / Job Type:
Full-time, Days, 12-hour shifts, including weekends as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory care for patients in ICU and critical care settings.
• Manage ventilator support and monitor patient respiratory status.
• Respond to changes in workload, including emergency situations.
• Adhere to all departmental protocols and safety standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Work independently when required, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness.

Required Qualifications:

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) license issued by the Delaware Board of Physician Quality Assurance.
• Graduate of a 2-4 year Respiratory Therapy program with an A.A. or B.S. degree, or equivalent.
• ICU and/or Critical Care experience preferred.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS required; NRP preferred.
• Knowledge of ventilator management.
• Ability to respond effectively to emergency situations.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working in high-acuity or ICU settings.
• Familiarity with ventilator management and critical care protocols.
