Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide bedside nursing care to Med/Surg and CCU patients in a combined unit setting.
• Conduct patient assessments, document findings in the electronic medical record (EMR), and notify physicians as needed.
• Administer medications, collect vital signs, and perform nursing tasks such as IV starts and NG placements.
• Utilize medical equipment including telemetry monitors, vital signs monitors, bladder scanners, and medication dispensing systems.
• Follow infection control protocols and document all patient care activities accurately.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license issued by the state of Indiana.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• ACLS certification through AHA preferred.
• Minimum of two years of hospital experience in a critical care or step-down setting for CCU patients.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIH certification is strongly preferred.
• Experience with Epic EMR system and bar code medication scanning.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a patient-to-nurse ratio of approximately 5:1.
