Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Temp-to-Perm, outpatient facility, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week
Key Responsibilities
- Assist and support oncology patients currently receiving treatment by managing care and administrative tasks
- Navigate patients through their oncology treatment plans at a state-of-the-art Cancer Center
- Coordinate patient care to ensure seamless treatment delivery and communication between patients and healthcare providers
- Manage all aspects of patient care documentation within the EPIC electronic health record system
- Contribute to a multidisciplinary team to promote optimal patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- 5+ years of oncology nursing experience preferred
- Certification in Oncology Nursing (ONCC) or Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) credential required
- Experience working with EPIC electronic health records
- Ability to handle administrative responsibilities related to patient care in an outpatient setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience as a Nurse Navigator or in a similar care coordination role within oncology
- Willingness to consider first-time applicants with strong oncology background
- Open to local candidates for consideration
