Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Location
• Greensboro, NC
Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, overnight shifts (Nights)
• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Includes 2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days per 6 weeks
• No call required
• Holidays as needed
Key Responsibilities
• Provide emergency nursing care to acutely ill or injured patients in the ER setting
• Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and perform necessary procedures
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Maintain detailed documentation in electronic health records (EPIC)
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and follow safety protocols
• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and state regulations
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Emergency Department nursing
• Valid state RN license
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications
• Ability to pass the Pass/Fail EKG exam required for all RNs at the facility
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous Charge Nurse and Level 2 Trauma experience
• PALS, CPI, and TNCC certifications are a plus
