- Full-time, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to a wide range of surgical and trauma patients
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, including use of Rapid Response Teams
- Administer blood products and manage central and peripheral lines
- Perform wound care, including wound vac management and drain care
- Follow isolation precautions and utilize appropriate airway management techniques (nasal cannula, non-invasive airway)
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure accurate documentation using EPIC and Pyxis systems
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical or medical surgical/unit specific setting
- Valid BLS and ACLS certifications
- Knowledge of blood product administration, line care, and emergency response procedures
- Must pass EKG testing prior to start
- For local candidates: Yes, open to locals
- Traveler experience preferred but not required
Preferred Skills / Certifications / Experience
- Experience titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips
- Knowledge of chest tubes (Emerson/Pleur-evac) and advanced surgical procedures (e.g., TURP, Ostomy, Tumor removal)
- Experience with wound vac systems and other advanced equipment

Additional Notes
- Shifts are 12 hours nightly, with a maximum of 7 days of RTO allowed after booking
- Will work every other weekend; eligible for contracts from 13 to 26 weeks
- May be required to work on storm or hurricane teams and during catastrophic events
- Consolidation to a centralized office may occur during the contract period
- All staff will complete hospital and floor orientation and be scrubbed in with Navy or equivalent scrubs
