Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
• Provide competent nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a general Med/Surg setting
• Administer medications including insulin and heparin drips, and perform wound vac dressing changes
• Monitor and support patients' respiratory needs, including high flow oxygen and occasional BiPAP support
• Collaborate with team members and utilize EPIC and PYXIS systems for documentation and medication management
• Participate in unit-specific orientation and comply with shift and scheduling requirements, including holiday work and on-call availability
• Be prepared to work with COVID-19 patients and support the Inclement Weather, Storm, or Hurricane Teams during catastrophic events
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a Med/Surg unit
• Experience with EPIC EMR system required
• Ability to administer insulin and heparin drips safely
• Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina
• Must be able to pass EKG testing prior to start date
• Current BCLS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
• CPI certification preferred
• Charge nurse experience
