Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele

• Huntersville, NC

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Night shifts (12 hours per shift), 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical and telemetry unit, focusing on cardiac and neurology services
• Monitor and interpret dysrhythmias, perform IV starts, and manage patient electrolyte and medication needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and document patient assessments accurately in electronic health records
• Respond to patient emergencies and ensure safety protocols are followed during night shifts
• Float to other med-surg units as needed, maintaining flexibility in assignments

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with the ability to accept first-time traveler assignments
• Valid BCLS and NIHP certifications
• Experience with IV starts, telemetry, and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills
• ACLS certification is preferred
• Experience in stroke, surgical, or oncology patient care is a plus
