- Night shifts, 3 days per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) patients.
- Monitor and manage ventilators, IV starts, and PICC lines.
- Operate and troubleshoot NICU-specific equipment including Phillips monitors, GE Giraffe Omni beds, and infusion pumps.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort following hospital protocols, including breast milk barcoding procedures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality neonatal care.
- Support staffing needs during holiday periods, including working Christmas Eve/Day and New Year’s Eve/Day, with staffing assistance during surrounding days.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS.
- Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience.
- Experience with vents, IV starts, and PICC line management.
- Ability to operate NICU equipment such as Phillips monitors, infusion pumps, and GE Giraffe Omni beds.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Familiarity with Dr. Brown’s Infant Driven Feeding Program guidelines.
