• Full-time, Night shift (36 hours/week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care on the IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units, following established protocols.
• Manage cardiac patients including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, chest tube care, and cardiac drips.
• Perform sheath removal and post-procedure assessments for cardiac cath patients.
• Monitor and care for patients with complex diagnoses such as CHF, ACS, arrhythmias, and post-surgical cardiac procedures.
• Document patient care accurately using electronic health records and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Ensure patient safety through vigilant assessment and timely intervention.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience on a cardiac or IMC/Stepdown unit.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience with cardiac telemetry, sheaths, and non-invasive airway management.
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Arterial line management, wound care, and charge nurse experience.
• Experience with complex vascular and cardiac surgeries such as CABG, TAVR, and electrophysiology procedures.
• Familiarity with OR systems like Epic and medication documentation tools.
