• Full-time, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 13-26 weeks contract duration

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with medical surgical conditions, including trauma, neurological injuries, and postoperative recovery
• Administer medications, including heparin drips and blood products, and manage IV lines, PICC lines, and central lines
• Monitor and manage patient airway, including tracheostomy care, nasal cannula, and non-invasive airway management
• Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records using EPIC system
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Follow isolation precautions and PPE protocols in accordance with hospital standards

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a medical-surgical or critical care setting within the last 5 years
• Ability to administer heparin drips and perform phlebotomy
• Experience with central line, PICC line, and peripheral line management
• Proficient in EPIC documentation system
• Ability to interpret EKGs and manage dysrhythmias (pass EKG testing prior to start)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification
• Management of neuro surgeries, spinal cord injuries, and trauma-related injuries
• Experience with hemodialysis management and stroke patient care
