Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Days shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in the operating room.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure efficient and safe procedures.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergency situations during surgery.
• Maintain sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and thoroughly.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Valid and active South Carolina Registered Nurse license.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in an Operating Room.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including days, weekends, and call duties.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience working in a hospital surgical department.
• Knowledge of surgical procedures and instrumentation.
• Strong team communication and critical thinking skills.

Additional Details

• Call requirement: 2 days per week plus 1-2 weekends every 6 weeks, schedule dependent on facility needs.
