• Full-time, 4x10 Day shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized perioperative nursing care for cardiac surgery patients in the CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room).
• Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure patient safety and successful procedures.
• Manage pre-operative preparation, intra-operative support, and post-operative care within the CVOR setting.
• Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with hospital protocols.
• Participate in on-call rotations, including at least two days of call per week and 1-2 weekends every 6 weeks, depending on facility needs.

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license.
• BLS certification through AHA.
• Minimum of 1 year of hospital experience, preferably in cardiac or CVOR nursing.
• Ability to work 10-hour shifts.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a CVOR or cardiovascular surgical unit.
• Knowledge of sterile techniques and cardiac surgical procedures.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
