- Full-time, travel assignment, days shift
Key Responsibilities
- Circulate within the operating room during orthopedic, spine, neurosurgical, and general surgical procedures
- Take call as required for the OR team
- Utilize advanced equipment such as electrosurgical devices, Neptune suction, and patient positioning tools
- Document all procedures accurately in the Meditech system
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, certifications, and safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Tennessee RN license
- BLS certification
- CST certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience, including circulating in orthopedic and spine surgeries
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Strong critical thinking and customer service skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with neurosurgical and robotic procedures (preferred but not required)
- Familiarity with surgical procedures such as total joints, spine fusions, neurosurgery, urology, and cardiovascular surgeries including open heart
- Knowledge of advanced surgical equipment and digital microscopes like Synaptive Modus V (preferred)
