Key Responsibilities
- Provide bedside nursing care to adult patients in a telemetry unit.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to arrhythmias or abnormal findings.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and other treatments as ordered.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records.
- Assist with patient assessments and communicate patient status to healthcare providers.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina or eligible to obtain.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience, preferably in telemetry or med-surg units.
- Strong critical thinking and time management skills.
- Ability to assess patient conditions and escalate issues appropriately.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification.
- Experience with Cerner electronic medical records or similar systems.
- Prior travel nursing experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with telemetry rhythm interpretation and cardiac monitoring.
