- Full-time, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to OB/GYN patients, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
- Assist during C-sections, including circulating and supporting physicians as needed.
- Attend deliveries and assess neonates post-delivery in the neonatal station.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions effectively to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
- Collaborate across disciplines for patient care coordination, including transfers, discharges, and referrals.
- Educate patients and families on care plans tailored to their age, culture, and circumstances, advocating for their physical and emotional well-being.
Required Qualifications
- Wyoming RN license or multi-state RN license.
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN, all attached to submission (must be through the American Heart Association).
- Minimum of 2 years recent RN experience in Level 1 Nursery, Postpartum, OB/GYN, or L&D/LDRP settings.
- Experience caring for OB/GYN patients, including post-op hysterectomy, antepartum, triage, labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
- Ability to float to other units as needed, providing support or coverage.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Neonatal resuscitation program (NRP) certification.
- Certification in fetal monitoring or related specialties.
- Experience working in community hospital settings.
