- Full-time, travel assignment, days shift, 13-week duration
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to telemetry patients, including assessment, monitoring, and intervention.
- Continuously evaluate patient vital signs and cardiac rhythms to detect any changes in condition.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record.
- Assist with procedures such as IV therapy, medication administration, and patient assessments.
- Maintain adherence to hospital policies and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Active and valid RN license in the state of North Carolina.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent telemetry or med-surg nursing experience.
- Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and time management skills.
- Flexibility to float to other med-surg units and follow unit policies.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification.
- Experience with Cerner EMR system.
- Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to assist colleagues and support a collaborative environment.
