Full-time, night shifts, 12.5-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week, temporary/travel assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized orthopedic nursing care to postoperative and preoperative patients.
- Monitor patient progress and respond to clinical needs during night shifts.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly.
- Adhere to hospital policies and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina or eligible to obtain licensure.
- Minimum of 2 years of orthopedic nursing experience.
- Ability to work night shifts and 12.5-hour shifts effectively.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a Level II trauma or orthopedic surgical unit.
- Familiarity with post-surgical patient care protocols.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
