Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a telemetry unit.
- Monitor cardiac and vital signs using standard telemetry equipment.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure accurate documentation in the electronic medical record system.
- Follow all unit policies and safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina.
- Current ACLS and NIH certification.
- At least 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
- Proficiency with standard medical equipment and EMR systems (Cerner preferred).
- Ability to work day shifts with flexible availability.
- Outgoing and self-motivated personality.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous neuro or telemetry nursing experience.
- Familiarity with procedures such as Foley insertion and IV starts.
