- Full-time, 13-week contract, day shifts, onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients' cardiac status using telemetry equipment.
- Manage a patient load of 6-7 patients, focusing mainly on urology and bowel patients.
- Administer medications including IV antibiotics, heparin drips, and TPN.
- Perform procedures such as wound vac management, tube feeds, PEG tubes, NG tubes, and drains.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide safe, high-quality patient care.
- Communicate effectively with charge nurses, providers, and team members to ensure patient needs are met.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license.
- BLS certification.
- Telemetry competency.
- Ability to manage 6-7 patients per shift.
- Experience with urology and bowel patient populations.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with wound vacs, TPN, PCA, and various drains (biliary, JP, nephrostomy, urinary).
- Knowledge of typical procedures such as colostomies, urostomies, and surgeries like cholecystectomy, bowel resection, urology surgeries, and others.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, engaging, and energetic personality.
- Excellent communication skills with team members and patients.

- Shift Hours: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
This is a travel assignment with weekly shifts of 12.5 hours, working 3 days per week.
