- Full-time, weekend shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized perioperative nursing care for orthopedic cases during weekend shifts.
- Administer medications, monitor patient vitals, and ensure patient safety throughout procedures.
- Assist with OR procedures and support surgical team to maintain efficiency and safety.
- Float within scope to three local hospitals to meet facility needs.
- Prioritize completion of time-sensitive modules prior to start date.
- Adhere to facility policies, including nicotine-free environment and compliance with patient care protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN in the operating room.
- BLS and ACLS certifications (must be current at time of submission).
- NIHSS certification (must obtain prior to start).
- Ability to float across multiple hospital sites within 20 miles.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in orthopedic surgical cases.
- Flexible availability for on-call shifts (2-3 days per week).
- Experience in teaching or Level Trauma facilities is a plus.
