Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Night shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical unit following established standards and protocols
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including IV starts and cardiac gtt management
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient care accurately using electronic charting system
- Assist with patient education and discharge planning as needed
- Float within scope to meet facility needs and across like units or sister facilities
Required Qualifications
- Valid South Carolina or Compact Nurse license in hand prior to start
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
- At least 2 years of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience
- IV start skills required, with tele/management of cardiac gtt experience a plus
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in an acute care hospital setting
- Ability to adapt to varying patient needs and unit assignments
