Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, 13-week assignment in a hospital setting, day shifts from 2:00 PM to 12:30 AM, 4 shifts per week, 10.5 hours per shift
Key Responsibilities
- Perform adult echocardiograms, including 2D/3D imaging and stress echocardiograms
- Conduct specialized procedures such as TEEs, structural heart assessments, TAVR, Mitral Clips, Watchman, and LVAD evaluations
- Operate and troubleshoot advanced ultrasound equipment including Philips Epiq, IE33EMR, and other diagnostic tools
- Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare team members to ensure accurate imaging and patient care
- Maintain documentation within electronic medical records systems such as Cerner and PowerChart
- Adhere to unit policies, dress code, and safety standards in a fast-paced environment
Required Qualifications
- Certified in BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Valid ARDMS or CCI certification for ultrasound/sonography
- At least 2 years of related echocardiography experience
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technology and procedures
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with adult cardiac echo procedures, including TEE and stress testing
- Familiarity with structural heart interventions and devices such as TAVR, Mitral Clips, Watchman, and LVADs
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
