- Travel, Night shifts, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to telemetry patients in a hospital setting.
- Monitor patient vitals and cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment.
- Administer medications and perform patient assessments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record.
- Assist with procedures such as peripheral IV starts and wound care as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or state of residence.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum 2 years of medical/surgical nursing experience with telemetry.
- Ability to work 12.5-hour night shifts.
- Experience with telemetry monitoring and standard medical-surgical skills.
- Strong team player with a positive attitude and willingness to assist others.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Charge nurse experience.
- Experience working in diverse medical and surgical units, including ED holding areas.
