Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 13-week travel assignment, days shift, working 3 shifts per week, 12.5 hours per shift
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients in a busy Labor and Delivery unit
- Monitor fetal and maternal vital signs using electronic fetal monitoring equipment
- Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and postpartum care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient care
- Support high-risk pregnancies and immediate newborn care as needed
- Adhere to unit policies and safety protocols, including certification standards
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
- Current and active RN license
- Certifications: NRP, BLS/ALS, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring
- Proven experience with high-risk obstetric cases and immediate newborn care
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Circulating nurse experience in labor and delivery settings
- Experience with electronic fetal monitoring systems
- Outgoing, friendly, and adaptable personality to fit team dynamics
