Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, travel, night shifts, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provides specialized nursing care for patients in telemetry unit utilizing remote telemetry monitoring systems.
- Prepares patients for procedures such as Endoscopy, IR, and OR as needed.
- Collaborates with healthcare team to deliver compassionate, team-oriented patient care in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintains accurate documentation within electronic health records using Cerner EMR system.
- Ensures patient safety and comfort while adhering to unit policies and protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Valid BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a hospital setting
- Ability to work 12.5-hour night shifts on a rotating schedule
- Strong communication and team player skills
- Must be flexible to work weekends and sign up for six weekend shifts within the schedule
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Leadership or charge nurse experience
- BSN degree
- CMSRN certification preferred but not required
- Experience with medical remote telemetry monitoring systems
