Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, Night shifts, 12.5 hours per shift, 3 shifts per week, approximately 26 weeks duration

Key Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing in a fast-paced ICU environment, responding to emergencies and patient needs.
• Support the rapid response team with oversight and assistance across the hospital, ensuring timely intervention during code blue situations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care aligned with hospital protocols.
• Perform advanced procedures such as cardiac arrest management, post-resuscitation care, trauma, stroke, and STEMI workups.
• Adhere to hospital policies and safety standards, including dress code and on-call requirements.
• Document patient status and care provided using electronic medical records system.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license to practice in North Carolina.
• Minimum of 5 years of ICU nursing experience.
• ACLS certification.
• NIHSS certification.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in medical ICU settings.
• Background in emergency department nursing.
• Previous experience on rapid response or code blue teams.
