- Travel, full-time, night shift, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the telemetry unit.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data to detect patient arrhythmias.
- Administer medications and perform procedures such as IV starts and dressing changes.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record.
- Assist in patient assessments and respond promptly to emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of North Carolina.
- Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical or telemetry nursing experience.
- BLS certification.
- Ability to work night shifts, 12.5 hours per shift.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Charge nurse experience.
- Experience with EMR systems, specifically Cerner Powerchart.
- Strong team player with a positive attitude and helpful nature.
- Familiarity with standard medical-surgical procedures such as peripheral IV starts and dressing changes.
