Job Title

• Travel, Night shifts, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a 23-bed stepdown unit and a 16-bed med-surgical unit, focusing on complex and stable vented patients with trachs, chest tubes, cardiac drips, and wound care.
• Perform procedures such as trach care, chest tube management, and wound dressing changes.
• Document patient care accurately using the Cerner EMR system.
• Collaborate with a team of nurses and staff to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Adapt to unit policies and maintain compliance with safety and patient care standards.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience.
• Experience working with trachs.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Ability to float to other med-surg and progressive care units as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Cerner EMR.
• Flexibility and high clinical competence to adjust to varying patient needs and unit policies.
