- Travel, Night shifts, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care for patients in the intermediate and progressive care units
- Monitor critically ill patients, including hemodynamic status and ventilator management
- Assist with bedside procedures such as intubations and chest tube insertions
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Perform bedside shift reports and leader rounding to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and documentation guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of North Carolina
- Minimum 2 years of ICU or PCU experience in a large facility
- Proficiency with hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS required
- Strong critical thinking, flexibility, and teamwork skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with advanced hemodynamic monitoring and central line management
- Knowledge of critical care pharmacology, including IV sedation, paralytics, and vasopressors
- Ability to work independently and adapt to float requirements
