Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, travel (13-week assignment), night shift, onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit, monitor cardiovascular status, and respond to patient needs
- Administer medications and IV therapies, including peripheral IV starts
- Perform dressing changes and other standard medical-surgical procedures
- Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in state of practice
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of medical/surgical nursing experience
- Experience with telemetry monitoring
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Charge nurse experience
- Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically Cerner Powerchart
- Experience in a hospital setting with a similar patient mix
