Registered Nurse - Operating Room
Location: Asheville, NC
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, days shifts, 13-week travel assignment
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care in the Operating Room for surgical patients.
• Assist with various surgical procedures across multiple service lines, including general, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgical operations.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to support procedure flow and adhere to safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner system and follow unit policies.
• Provide call coverage as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of operating room nursing experience.
• Skill level of 3 or higher in joint, neuro, ortho, or vascular specialties.
• Ability to assist with a broad range of surgical procedures.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience in a high-volume hospital setting.
• Familiarity with Cerner documentation system.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
