Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, rotating shifts, 3 shifts per week
• 12-hour shifts (7am-7:30pm or 7pm-7:30am, variable as needed)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a hospital stepdown/IMC/PCU unit, focusing on cardiac and general medical-surgical patients.
• Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and recognize abnormal cardiac rhythms.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient progress and assist with patient education.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of recent permanent experience in a similar specialty prior to travel.
• 18 months of recent cardiac step-down experience (travel experience acceptable).
• Valid Ohio license or compact state license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• NIH certification required.
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation with acceptable scores.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in PCU or progressive care units is a plus.
• Strong assessment skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
