Registered Nurse Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, travel
- Nights shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- 3 shifts per week (13-week duration)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality medical/surgical nursing care for telemetry patients on a 38-bed unit
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including performing procedures such as peripheral IV starts and dressing changes
- Collaborate with unit staff to ensure patient safety and comfort, maintaining appropriate patient ratios (6:1) and assisting charge nurses as needed
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner Powerchart EMR system
- Adhere to hospital policies, dress code, and safety protocols
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina or appropriate state licensure
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of medical/surgical nursing experience
- Telemetry experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Charge nurse experience
- Experience with IV pumps, wound vacs, and other medical equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Positive attitude and strong team player mindset
