Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, 13-week assignment, Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM), 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult telemetry patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Monitor patient rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient acuity.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in the EMR system.
• Assist with procedures such as IV placement, medication administration, and other bedside care.
• Support team-oriented approach by assisting colleagues and maintaining positive unit dynamics.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina or the ability to obtain one.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, preferably in medical-surgical or telemetry units.
• Proficiency in telemetry rhythm interpretation and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and communicate clearly with team members.
• Willingness to float to other med-surg units when needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification.
• Experience working in a hospital with telemetry monitoring.
• Strong team player with a flexible attitude and willingness to assist others.
