Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Night shift, 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, nights (18:45-07:15), schedule includes weekends, on-call, and holidays rotation, with potential floating within scope.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care within the medical-surgical unit.
- Administer medications and fluids, including gtts such as Heparin, Insulin, Amiodarone, and Cardizem.
- Monitor patient conditions, document findings, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
- Participate in holiday and weekend rotations, as well as on-call duties.
- Float within scope to accommodate department needs as required.
- Maintain compliance with all hospital policies and certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Kansas RN license or Compact license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of 1 year of hospital medical-surgical experience.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with gtts such as Heparin, Insulin, Amiodarone, and Cardizem is preferred.
