Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech therapy services to inpatient clients at a designated hospital setting.
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
• Perform modified barium swallow studies (competency preferred but not required).
• Ensure adherence to all hospital policies and clinical standards.
• Document patient progress and coordinate with healthcare team members.
• Maintain active licensure and certifications as required.

Required Qualifications

• Active license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in Massachusetts.
• Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care setting.
• Ability to work scheduled shifts including Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings.
• Must have received flu vaccination prior to start (medical exemptions only).
• Must have been separated from the BILH system for at least 6 months (permanent, per diem, or contract roles accepted).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience conducting modified barium swallow studies.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in a hospital environment.
