Schedule / Job Type
Full-time, 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week, potential for float to DOU, Tele, or Med Tele. Every other weekend required; cannot have RTO during the first two weeks. Limited RTO requests (no more than 3 days), and candidates must be willing to work holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced patient care in ICU and specialty units, including ICU, DOU, Tele, or Med Tele.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias; monitor and interpret TracTrac/Vigileo data.
• Manage multi-system organ failure, ventilators, and invasive lines (arterial, central, PICC).
• Administer IV medications, including insulin protocols, paralytics, sedation, vasoactive and emergency medications.
• Assist in procedures such as chest tube insertion/removal, wound care, and airway management.
• Follow infection prevention protocols and utilize PPE appropriately.
• Conduct phlebotomy, blood product administration, and manage ventilator and airway devices.
• Titrate medications and support patient stability during acute events such as strokes or cardiac emergencies.
• Support advanced respiratory care including high flow nasal cannula, BiPAP, and CPAP management.
• Document accurately and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license
• ACLS, BLS, CPIMAB or VIPN, NIHSS certifications
• Experience with FloTrac/Vigileo monitoring and dysrhythmia management
• Proficiency in ventilator management, invasive line care, and medication titration
• Ability to interpret ABGs and perform advanced respiratory and patient care procedures

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3+ years of ICU experience
• Experience working in high-acuity critical care environments
• Familiarity with hypothermia protocols and head trauma management
• Ability to handle complex medication protocols and emergency procedures
